Hello! My name is Hailey Tarver. I am a native of Philadelphia, Mississippi and I moved to Sumter County in 2010. I currently live in Demopolis with my husband and our three children. I graduated East Mississippi Community College with my Associates and obtained my Bachelors in History at Mississippi State University-Meridian Branch. I finished my education degree at the University of West Alabama. I have been teaching Social Studies at Sumter Central since 2015. I love meeting new students and their families and making life long connections with them. I am also the Beta Club sponsor for the High School. I have been the sponsor for 3 years and it has been an amazing experience.

History has always been my favorite subject. I grew up with two veteran grandparents who turned every Saturday into a history lesson. I love to read and spend time with my kids outside.
